Custom software
The WebSight designs and builds web applications: internal tools, client portals, booking systems, platforms and software sold by subscription. We take them from the scoping workshop to production, then improve them based on real use.
Start small, build right
Successful applications rarely start with every feature. We identify the core of the need with you, build it well, then improve it from real use. If you are looking for a nearshore development team for a European business, the working method is the same: a scoping workshop, clickable mock-ups, then stages you try as they are delivered, run remotely in English or French.
What we build
- Internal tools. Requests, approvals, schedules and dashboards that replace shared spreadsheets.
- Production and quality tracking. Steps, checks and non-conformities entered on a tablet at the workstation instead of on paper.
- Client and supplier portals. Orders, documents and statuses shared online, without long email threads.
- Platforms and communities. Accounts, content and activities brought together in one place.
- Booking systems. Tables, rooms, slots or resources booked online, with an overview for the team.
- Connections. The application linked to Odoo, your ERP or other software through their APIs.
Projects
- Tamkeen: a platform for workshops, communities, venues and media, with an admin area, accounts and roles, dashboards, shared files by working group and an interface in English and Arabic. Data from the former platform was migrated at the switch-over. Astrolabe, a board-and-card tool, lets the team prepare and publish its stories.
- Ôsaveur: an internal app for a café-restaurant: bookings by time slot, floor plans of each room with table allocation, customer records and an occupancy dashboard, for one or several restaurants.
- Home & Sofa: stock software that tracks materials workshop by workshop (upholstery, frames, joinery) and follows each order.
- Fahras: our own product for accounting firms. It reads documents by OCR in French and Arabic, recognises the company by its ICE number and files each document, then a person checks.
How a project runs
- Scoping. A workshop to define the core of the need, the users and what the first version must do.
- Clickable mock-ups. The main screens, tested and approved by you before the first line of code.
- Development in stages. Regular deliveries that you try as the project goes.
- Production. Hosting, backups, monitoring and data migration, then opening to users.
- Evolution. The application improves from real use, with an evolution budget if you wish.

Not included: the Android and iPhone app (see mobile apps), hosting at the provider’s price, and maintenance after launch, from 1,500 DH excl. VAT a month. Full details in French on our custom software page.
SaaS and MVP
For software you will sell by subscription, our SaaS and MVP service (in French) covers three situations:
- Scoping, from 5,000 DH excl. VAT (one to two weeks): the problem, the users, the business model, clickable mock-ups and the scope of the first version.
- Takeover, from 20,000 DH excl. VAT (three to six weeks): for an app left by a former provider or built with AI tools that breaks with real users. We check whether access keys are visible in the code, whether one customer can read another’s data, and whether passwords and payments rely on proven tools. Then we fix, add tests on the key journeys and document.
- MVP, from 50,000 DH excl. VAT (eight to fourteen weeks): accounts, subscriptions and online payment, an admin area, a dashboard for your customers, and a version to try every two weeks.
Who owns what
The source code stays with The WebSight: you receive a licence to use the software, on terms set out in the quote. The domain name, the accounts of the services used and your data stay in your name. If you plan to raise funds or build an in-house team, raise it during scoping.
When an existing product already covers most of your need, we say so: Odoo Community or our own management software often cost less than a full development. For the public side of your business, see our web development page, and more about the studio on our English home page.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns the source code?
The source code stays with The WebSight: you receive a licence to use the software, on terms set out in the quote. The domain name, the accounts of the services used and your data stay in your name. If you plan to raise funds or build an in-house team, tell us during scoping.
Which technologies do you use?
Mainly Next.js, React and TypeScript for interfaces, PostgreSQL for data, and proven tools for authentication and payments. We choose according to your project, not out of habit.
How much does custom software cost?
With us, custom software starts at 35,000 DH excl. VAT for a tool covering one process, and an MVP of a subscription product at 50,000 DH. The price depends on the number of screens and user types, the business rules and the connections to your other tools. We start with a scoping workshop, then quote a first version limited to the core of the need.
How long does a first version take?
Usually six to twelve weeks for a focused first version of an internal tool, delivered in stages, and eight to fourteen weeks for an MVP after one to two weeks of scoping. You try each stage as the project goes rather than discovering everything at the end.
Can you take over an app built with AI or left by another provider?
Yes, as long as you have access to the code, the servers and the accounts of the services used. We audit the code, security and data, fix the flaws, add tests and document the product. If a part costs less to rebuild than to repair, we tell you after the audit.
Can the software connect to Odoo or our ERP?
Yes. We connect the application to Odoo, to your ERP or to your other tools through their APIs, so that data is entered only once.
