Odoo integration

The WebSight installs Odoo Community, the open-source edition of Odoo, configures it around the way your company works and develops the modules it lacks. For Moroccan companies, and for European and international groups running a subsidiary, a site or a plant in Morocco.

Odoo in a few words

Odoo is an ERP: one system to run most of a company. Its apps share the same data, so a quote that is accepted becomes an order, the order leaves stock and the invoice goes to the customer, with nothing typed twice. You can start with two or three apps and add the others when the team is ready.

We work with Odoo Community, published under the LGPL version 3 open-source licence (Odoo on GitHub). You pay no licence per user, and the open code lets us build modules specific to your business.

What Community does, and what it does not

According to Odoo’s editions comparison, checked on 7 October 2026, Community includes CRM, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, point of sale and invoicing. Full accounting (general ledger, bank reconciliation), Studio, Odoo’s Android and iOS apps, payroll, hosting by Odoo and Odoo’s version upgrade service are listed as Enterprise only.

We go through this list with you during scoping, so you know before starting what Community will and will not cover. When a missing function matters to your business, we develop the module. Morocco is among Odoo’s fiscal localisations, and we check with your accountant that your invoices and documents meet your obligations.

For companies with operations in northern Morocco

Companies in the Tangier free zone, at Tanger Med and in the industrial parks of the north often share the same needs: several sites and warehouses, purchases in foreign currencies, lots and serial numbers to track, and export customers who expect flawless documents. Odoo Community covers the core with its purchasing, inventory, manufacturing and invoicing apps, with invoices in dirhams showing VAT and the ICE (the Moroccan company identifier). We add what is specific to your production.

Odoo Garage, our own module

For garages, body shops and dealerships, we built Odoo Garage, a module for Odoo Community that follows each vehicle from appointment to invoice: reception with a damage diagram and photos, quotes sent on paper or by WhatsApp, workshop, insurance claims and invoicing. It runs at Samel Auto, a garage for which we also installed and configured Odoo Community (both pages in French).

How a project runs

  1. Scoping. We look at your processes and choose with you the apps that will save the most time.
  2. Installation and configuration. Your products, taxes, documents and the access rights of each role.
  3. Data migration. Customers, suppliers, products and stock imported from your files, then checked with you.
  4. Custom modules. When Odoo is not enough, we develop what is missing, delivered in stages.
  5. Training and go-live. Each team learns what concerns it, and we stay with you after go-live: 30 or 60 days depending on the package.

Not included: the server or hosting, at the provider’s price; extra apps such as manufacturing, point of sale or projects, quoted separately; and maintenance after the follow-up period, from 1,500 DH excl. VAT a month. There is no Odoo Enterprise licence to pay, since we install Community.

What moves the price: the number of apps and users, the modules to develop, the data to migrate and the connections to your other tools. Full details are on our Odoo page in French.

An Odoo system often comes with other work: an online shop connected to Odoo’s stock, a mobile app for field teams that reads and writes Odoo data, or custom software when your business rules fit no existing product. More about the studio on our English home page.

Frequently asked questions

What is Odoo Community?

The free, open-source edition of Odoo, the business management software (ERP). Its apps share the same data: CRM, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, point of sale and invoicing. There is no licence fee per user, and its open code lets us develop the exact modules your business needs.

Do you work for Odoo SA?

No. The WebSight is an independent integrator specialised in Odoo Community. We are not part of Odoo SA’s official programme: you pay no licence to the publisher, and we adapt Odoo to your business with modules developed for you.

Can you take over an existing Odoo installation?

Yes. We start with an audit of your installation, then we correct the configuration, simplify the screens and add the modules that are missing.

How long does an Odoo project take?

To start with the standard apps (sales, invoicing, stock), usually a few weeks: three to five for our Start package. With custom modules and a large data migration, two to four months. The schedule is set out in the quote.

Where is Odoo hosted?

On your own server or with a hosting provider, depending on your constraints. We install Odoo, manage backups and updates, and your data remains yours.

Can you work with a team based in Europe?

Yes. Scoping workshops can be held remotely, in French or English, and Morocco is on GMT, one or two hours behind Paris and Madrid. Quotes and contracts can be in English, and each team can be trained remotely.
