Mobile apps

The WebSight builds apps for your customers or your teams, published on Google Play and the App Store, or installed straight from the browser. One codebase serves Android and iPhone, connected to the tools you already use.

Who will use it, and instead of what?

A mobile app is only useful if it replaces something painful: orders taken by phone, paper delivery notes, field reports copied out in the evening. So we start with a simple question: who will use the app, and what will it replace? For your customers, it has to be faster than a WhatsApp message. For your teams, it has to fit in a pocket and work without a network.

One codebase for Android and iPhone

In September 2026, Android accounted for 74.02% of mobile web traffic in Morocco and iOS for 25.97% (StatCounter). Leaving one of them out means losing part of your users. We build with React Native and Expo: one codebase produces both the Android and the iPhone app, and each fix benefits both.

That is how we built OMYKI, an iOS and Android app to manage and share access keys: sign-up and sign-in verified by SMS code, a key ring, keys shared between members, notifications and an interface in several languages.

On the stores or from the web

App on the stores Installable web app
Where to find it Google Play and App Store A link, then “Add to home screen”
Publishing Review by Apple and Google Immediate
Updates A new version to publish Immediate
Best for Your customers, a service people look for in the stores An internal tool, occasional use

You can start with an installable web app and publish to the stores when use justifies it.

Published in your company’s name

The app belongs to your company, so we open the developer accounts in your name:

  • Apple: about 990 DH a year (USD 99, at Bank Al-Maghrib’s reference rate of 6 October 2026). Organisations need a D-U-N-S number to enrol (Apple Developer).
  • Google Play: about 250 DH (USD 25), paid once (Play Console Help). New personal accounts must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before publishing (Play Console Help), which is one more reason to publish under a company account.

How we work

  1. Scoping. Who uses the app, for what, and what goes into the first version. The rest waits.
  2. Mock-ups. The main screens, clickable, tried on your phone before any code is written.
  3. Development. Test versions installed on your phones as the project goes, to fix things early.
  4. Publishing. Developer accounts in your name, store listings, testing, then review by Apple and Google.
  5. Follow-up. Updates for each new version of Android and iOS, fixes and new features.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a mobile app cost?

With us, an installable web app starts at 25,000 DH excl. VAT, an app published on Google Play and the App Store at 50,000 DH, and a platform with two types of users at 90,000 DH. Store fees come on top: about 250 DH once for Google Play (USD 25) and about 990 DH a year for Apple (USD 99). We send a detailed quote after the scoping workshop.

Do we need both Android and iPhone?

In most cases, yes. In September 2026, about 74% of mobile web traffic in Morocco came from Android and 26% from iOS, according to StatCounter. With one codebase, most of the development serves both versions; testing and publishing are done for each.

App store or installable web app?

An installable web app is often enough for an internal tool or occasional use: no store review, and updates are immediate. The stores make sense when customers need to find you on Google Play or the App Store, or when the app relies heavily on the phone’s features. Both can share the same code and server.

In whose name is the app published?

In your company’s name. We open the Google Play and Apple developer accounts with you, in your name. Apple asks organisations for a D-U-N-S number, which is free but can take several days to obtain, so we start that step at the beginning of the project.

Can the app work offline?

Yes, if it is designed for it from the start: entries are kept on the phone and sent as soon as the network is back. It is an option, quoted from 15,000 DH excl. VAT, and useful for field teams in areas with poor coverage.

Can you take over an existing app?

Yes. We start with an audit of the code, the store accounts and the servers, then we propose to fix it, develop it further or rebuild it.
